It seems that I get it more and more without any reason unless it is the medication or the hormones...(old age..lol)

I get infections all the time. Flu. Bladder. Cough. Throat and ears. Even eyes. But I started taking supplements like Rose hip, magnesium, D3-forte, lecithin and I found them beneficial. My mum died of cancer in September and I had a bad flare ended up in hospital and could not get out of bed for a week. Finally came home. Then two weeks befoe xmas my six year partner decided he could not be with me aanymore anymore. So I was pretty bad for a while. With the help of counselling and meds and physiotherapy I am getting back on track. So I have started my supplements again. I hope you find some tips. Gentle hugs everyone.

Agree with everyone else about autoimmune. From what I've read multiple autoimmune issues are normal with fibro. I also have some ultra rare autoimmune issues that have been flaring the past six weeks. I saw lots of people suggesting natural remedies. I personally try to use as many natural remedies as I can to avoid becoming immune to Antibiotics. The more you take them the less they work. Pretty soon your using super strong antibiotics to fight small infections and then when the bird flu hits or something alone those lines you are screwed because you at antibiotic immune. So I recommend all the natural cures you can get before using antibiotics.

I have heard for a long time that cranberries are one of the most 'perfect' of all foods. I love them! Will try this! Thanks!

Yes. i know my immune system is NOT what it used to be. I have been told that is normal for fibro patients. taking vitamin C helps. It is funny, have to pay for a lot of meds, but find it hard to find money for the vitamins that could help too. i am working with a dr. to get off some of the drugs, but not sure that will happen.

I was more prices to colds etc so I had the flu jab which u can get from free I'd u have fibro as your body is more vulnerable to infection. It does work. As I only get a mils.cold and sore throat with slight earache. I did get a nasty infection in my tooth which was eventually extracted. It was made worse my the fact I was on alendronic acid which means before I have any extractions I n have to go on antibiotics a day before taking it out. This time as.it was an emergency extraction I didn't have time to go on them so the healing process went on for 3 weeks. So was very painful. I do seem to be more run down than I ever was so do pick things up a.lot quicker so have to tell ppl with colds etc not to come to the house. My biggest problem arm session to be constipation. I bough lactose and select which is helping except.i felt more.blown.uo and so stopped the lactose. I have also gone.back to semi sed milk
I was eating a.lot of dairy.products nut realizesd that.u must be that I poss be.lactose intoleeanrt
