Has anyone had problems with their vision? Last year I had an eye exam and my vision was 2 times worse from the prior year. I feel my vision is getting worse again and it has only been 7 months since my last eye exam. I clean my glasses thinking that's the problem but it's not. I guess I need to schedule another eye exam :-(

Members connected over worsening vision problems, with many wondering whether their symptoms stem from fibromyalgia, aging, or medications like Cymbalta and Plaquenil, which several members noted can cause pupil dilation, light sensitivity, and even risk of permanent damage. Several members shared practical strategies including switching from contacts to glasses, using lubricating eye drops like Thealoz Duo or Viscotears for dry eyes, washing eyelids with baby shampoo, and carefully reviewing medication side effects with doctors before continuing treatment. A recurring theme was frustration over rapid vision changes despite recent exams or procedures like LASIK, alongside symptoms such as floaters, flashing lights, double vision, and ocular migraines that left members feeling anxious but grateful to know they weren't alone.

My eyes are very dry. There are times when I see double and have trouble focusing my eyes.

I am going through this right now they have fitted me with 6 pairs of different contacts. I am still seeing blurry no matter what they do I really believe it's from the fibro.

What medications are you taking? I'm on cymbalta and my eyes have gotten horrible, I never had to wear glasses but I do now because the cymbalta dialated my pupils so my eyes have gotten damage from light sensitivity
