I have fibro and was given the vaccine in High school. doctors have always tried to assure me that the too aren't related, my mother made the corrolation between the time I got ill and the vaccine too but not sure

Gardisil is for HPV and certain strains of HPV can lead to cervical cancer and other types of cancer in both men and women. There was a huge push for it a few years ago in my age group (about high school aged) because it is only given to those from 13-26 years old (it also only came out in 2006). Also, it was originally only given to girls but they have since been recommending it for use in males as well. Seeing as most fibro patients are older (aka pre-Gardacil) I doubt there is any connection. I have had fibro for several years but only got the vaccine maybe 2 years ago. The times really add up for me aswell, but the doctors won't admit it, thank you
