Just wondering if anyone here takes ropinirole and Levothyroxine?
I have used ropinirole for restless leg syndrome for a while now and a few months ago I was diagnosed with an under active thyroid. I was prescribed Levothyroxine.

Since then, I suffer really bad nausea. I have to lay down and either sleep or try and just relax.

Anybody else have this?
I've had bloods done and go drs this week to find out

Members discussed experiences with nausea while taking ropinirole and Levothyroxine, with mixed reports on whether the medications were the cause or if nausea was related to fibromyalgia itself. Several members shared helpful strategies including taking medications at night instead of morning, using anti-nausea medications like Zofran, trying ginger tea or ginger candy, taking probiotics, and applying pressure to a specific point on the inner arm about a third of the way from the wrist. A recurring theme was that nausea is a common and challenging symptom many members experience daily, and the original poster found relief by temporarily stopping Levothyroxine under doctor supervision to determine which medication might be causing the problem.

I haven't taken it but i suffer with nausea every day all. I was wondering if anyone else has that problem. I thought it was apart of fibromyglia.

Terrible. I hope yours goes away.

Have you tried pressing on the inside of your arm with your thumb? About 1/3 of the way from your wrist. I think it helps. I try to breathe through my abdomen and calm it down.

I have it everyday here too, sometimes mild, very strong to salivating and retching. It started when I had bad ankle/lower leg pain. Comes with headaches too.

Thank you for all your replies.

Thankfully my bloods all came back okay. My Doctor gave me a few choices...so for now, I'm okay to come off Levothyroxine with him monitoring. I'm booked in for repeat bloods in four weeks. We want to see if the ropinirole has now stopped being nice to me haha.

I get nausea alot but this literally knocks me off my feet and feel like I'm going to pass out.

I take both of those meds. I was diagnosed with thyroid issues first , take the Levothyroxin for around Nine months. Did a sleep study and was prescribed the Ropininole for restless leg syndrome. I have been suffering from nausea for well over a year, so I would not know if the meds are causing anything. I think it is part of the fibro Sometime hurt so bad I want to throw up.
