Does anyone deal with vertigo issues? If so, what have you found to be helpful?
I saw PT's specially trained in issues of Vertigo. The exercises have really helped. I avoid rapid movements, bright or moving lights, try not to be around loud noises and never go to 3D or IMAX movies.
I had it. Mine brought on my meds. Flexeril and zopidem. Doesn't go together.
There are exercises that are used for vertigo that can be helpful. You can find them online. Limit caffeine too. Try to too move your head suddenly. More awareness of what triggers it. I have Menieres. Episodes are random and thankfully not often but I have been to the hospital for them they have been that bad. There are meds but I did not like them for myself. Hope this helps.
I have it to.My Dr. Wants me to go get my stones that are in your ear taking care of and it will help get reed of it.(not sure what u call the things in your ear are called)
I do have vertigo, so badly that I have fallen and hit my head. It was then they discovered I have Epley's Syndrome, I do exercises with my head and neck and it floats the bones of my inner ear back to where they are supposed to be. It was so bad at one point, I could not walk, my sister had to come and take me to the Dr because I could not drive. Good luck I hope you find your answers.
