I have been on Cymbalta DR 30mg for over a year and never upped my dosage to the full amount that my rheumatologist said I could take. Lately, I have been taking more tramadol than before at night to help sleep but I hate the grogginess that comes along with it in the morning. Is anyone taking cymbalta for FM and if so how much do you take?

Members shared their experiences with Cymbalta dosages for fibromyalgia, with most taking 60mg daily after starting at 30mg, and several noting that their doctors commonly recommend increasing to the higher dose for better symptom management. Many members described combining Cymbalta with other medications like gabapentin for leg pain and tramadol for flare-ups, with one member suggesting taking a lower tramadol dose an hour before bed to reduce morning grogginess. A recurring theme was the importance of following medical guidance when adjusting dosages, while one member offered a strong caution about planning a very slow taper if ever discontinuing Cymbalta due to difficult withdrawal symptoms.

I take 60mg also. I started off at 30mg but my dr said it is common to need 60.

My doctor told me to take up to 60 mg a day but I hadn't gone up to that yet.

I take 30 mg in the morning and 60mg in the evening. Doesn't help much with pain but has helped with my migraines. I don't have .I grained anymore.

I also take same amount of cymbalta plus gabapetin 200 or 400 mg as needed. I have tramadol for my worst days, and do ok. My legs are the worst... today especially. I have some essential oils I use for inflammation but dont remember the blend.

My rheumatologist upped my Cymbalta to 60 mg. today, so we'll see if it starts to help some.

I take 60 MG of Cymbalta nightly. I do not know what dose of Tramadol your taking. My prescription for Tramadol is 150 mg. I cut these into threes. So I only actually take 50 mg. I still get a restful sleep. Also I take it about an hour before bed. This helps with the foggiest not being so bad in the morning
