Members overwhelmingly related to the frustrating experience of itchy ears that often worsens at night, with many describing sensations like something moving inside, water trapped in the canal, or an unreachable hair, and several noting that doctors found nothing physically wrong. Several members shared practical steps they've taken, including seeing a dermatologist who diagnosed psoriasis and prescribed effective medicated treatments, using Otomise spray for temporary relief, and considering whether allergies, eustachian tube issues, or medication side effects might be contributing factors. A recurring theme was the challenge of distinguishing fibromyalgia symptoms from other treatable conditions, with members encouraging each other to seek specialist care rather than dismissing everything as fibro and potentially missing something serious.

I had itchy ears and an itchy scalp. I saw a dermatologist and was told that it was some sort of psoriasis. She gave me some medicated mousse and a cream for my ears and it went right away.

Yes mine too get very itchy at night , worse when I lay down , mine feels like there is water in them . I did have my Dr check it out and he said there was nothing wrong, so I'm guessing it must be the Fibro. Sorry I don't have a solution

Yes I do. I've been told it's due to my allergies but I truly believe it's the Fibro. And so far nothing helps except using a Qtip. But be very careful doing that. I even carry Qtips with me in my purse!!

I get them all the time. Otomise I think was the spray I got. It works but it keeps coming back. I only just found out this was also linked to fibromyalgia. It's never ending lol
