Members shared mixed but largely positive experiences with magnesium supplementation for fibromyalgia pain, with many reporting noticeable improvements in muscle cramps, restless leg syndrome, sleep quality, and overall pain levels, though some noted stomach upset or no significant benefit. Several members emphasized the importance of getting blood tests to confirm deficiencies, choosing the right form like magnesium biglycinate, and pairing it with other supplements such as vitamin D, B complex, turmeric, and malic acid for better results. A recurring theme was that while magnesium helped most people feel better within days to weeks, individual responses varied widely, and working closely with a doctor to find the right dosage and form was essential for success.

Oh my gosh! Since I started taking Magnesium along with Vitamin B Complex, C, D, Multi vitamin, probiotic twice a day and malic acid my life has improved 90%. I no longer take any prescription drugs for the Fibro. Have had Fibro over 10 years. Your doc can do blood tests to determine what you are lacking in vitamins and minerals. Like I said I am 90% better and getting better everyday. I have been on the vitamins and minerals for over a year. The Magnesium made me feel better and I started sleeping normal after the second dose. Good Luck!

Yes my pharmacist told me to take 400-500mg magnesium to help with muscle aches and cramps. I don't know about biglycinate ( form of magnesium). I take mine in calcium+ magnesium . And after approx 1 month improvement noticed

I've read a lot about that, but have actually never tried it. My go tos are: Vit B&D, MSM and turmeric. I really notice a difference when I don't take them

magnesium and potassium help with maintaining muscles and nerves. The doctor should have tested to see if you were deficient. I stared to take potassium with magnesium and it does help with my brain fog. I have had less flare ups too.
