Does anyone else get intermittent tingling in their feet and muscle twitches in various areas in their body? I am noticing my feet tingling on and off several times throughout the week
I get various muscle groups that twitch and it seems to last for several weeks. I am just trying to figure out if this is typical of fibro or if I should try to see an additional dr for more tests to rule out other autoimmune conditions
I definitely have fibro and have had it for probably 25+ yrs although… read more

Members overwhelmingly confirmed experiencing tingling in their feet and muscle twitches throughout their bodies, with many describing these sensations as daily occurrences that can appear anywhere from fingers and hands to legs, chest, and thighs. Several members shared strategies that have helped ease their symptoms, including taking magnesium and potassium supplements, vitamins B12 and D3, gabapentin, 5-HTP, eliminating certain foods, and managing stress to avoid worsening the condition. A recurring theme was the challenge of distinguishing fibromyalgia symptoms from other conditions like neuropathy, diabetes, or MS, with strong encouragement to consult a doctor to rule out more serious causes while also finding reassurance in the shared experience of overactive nerves.

Suggest for little muscle spasams be sure u r taking magnesuim. Also an organic banana can add potasium to ur diet....over time these items should help. In my case (im not diabetic) tingling went away after i found out some food sensitivities and eliminated these items from my diet...i dont know if this is common or not for tingling feet etc

Although I had never had nerve pain, tingling, prickling in feet, hands etc. through many years of fibro/CF, all of a sudden it showed up. Condition went up and I took 5-HTP and it went away. Magnesium can help with the twitching. I think most important don't worry about it....that can give emotional stress and get ur whole condition much worse.
