I recently did a timeline of my personal fibro and migraine pains. I found that the symptoms only began to occur after my surgery two years ago (2013). I also had pneumonia a few weeks after my surgery, so I wonder if either or both might have triggered the fibro/migraine problems in my body. Any thoughts on this?
From the research I have done, trauma can cause Fibro. Both of my doctors have said this as well. I was in an accident 3 years ago and had spinal trauma. Ended up having surgery and now have Fibro.
Wow, one thing's for sure: migraines and fibro are connected!
I don't know but I am just coming off a 3-4 day migraine had some pain 1 day prior and still have some pain now.
It's been a long time for me.
I get migraines regular as clock work every 2 weeks. Hormone related. Hoping as I get out of the menopause loop that they go away.
My migranes indirectly made my fibro go into overdrive, I had a migranes lasting 3 days unable to look at light so was sent for a lumber puncture. They tried seven times to get clear fluid and failed the pain was so intense. From then on pains I had dismissed as getting old and rsi suddenly ramped up 10 fold, I started to struggle at work was always tired, would have waves of fatigue where I would fall asleep at my desk, got shakes and my is went into overdrive. This led directly to my long route being diagnosed with cps and fibromyalgia.
