When you had blood work, did they check your blood sugar level? If that is over 100 or 126 for sure it could mean that you're either diabetic or pre-diabetic. Not to get all worked up over but it's worth looking into. Check with the doctor. Those are some of the signs of diabetes.
I got off lipitor a long time ago. I know it is not good long-term for my body. Last December mine was 256 also I believe, so I started on Crestor. I think 20 mg taken once a day. I did that for about six months, then I started every other day and about two weeks ago now I don't take any. So I hope my test will be good this December. The nutritional supplements I take I'm sure are also helping.
Take fish oil and eat oatmeal~ It is what I did I felt like Lipitor was killing me. Gentle Hugs~

I have had so many problems I attribute to Lipitor. Try oatmeal everyday if you can. All of these medicines cause more muscle damage~
