I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia by my Physical Therapist Once my Therapy ended, All diagnosis' including Fibromyalgia were removed and listed as resolved
Who diagnosed you? And how
Fin another Dr. Fibro is not a maybe , could be illness. It is a constant.
That's interesting. I've never heard of being diagnosed with something like this and then having it removed because it "resolved." I don't think fibro just resolves.. I'm sorry that happened to you. I was finally diagnosed by a rheumatologist, after being treated by a pain doctor for over a year and still having pain for unknown reasons. I hope you get a conclusive diagnosis & proper treatment soon.
I'm sorry that is happening to you. I hope you get the answers you need. Hugs
@A MyFibroTeam Member that's terrible all my pregnancies were terrible pain wise as well, but at the stages they just tried to tell me it was pelvic pubis dysfunction I litterly cudnt even move to try and roll over in bed. Took years to get diagnosed and by then I d already been diagnosed with herniated discs in both lower and upper spine, hip problems, osteoarthritis burstitis scitita and permant nerve damage in my left side. The pain from fybromylgia started getting really dad about 5 years ago and was told it's all in my head. Like u I can't bear to b touched anywhere on my body as the pain is so widespread. I think like u at the start my husband thought it was all just so I didn't want him touching me hell even my boobs even kill me every day. Thank God after nemerous blood tests xrays MRI CT scans etc I got diagnosed. It's been a long awful hard few years and I m still suffering in terrible pain as they still haven't seemed to have gotten my pain meds properly sorted they keep chipping and changing.. I hope my daughter hasn't got it either as shes been complaing this last year r so about similar pain which was diagnosed as costohordritis same as myself although I still think she has childhood fibromyalgia... I hope ur daughter gets sorted properly as I know what those doctors can be like.. Hugs x
In 1976 after I gave birth to my first child, I had Had a lot of hip pain and low back along with neck stiffness, because of pregnancy xrays were not allowed. I had appt booked for 6 weeks post natal with Rheumatologist, it was decided after numerous bloods and xrays (Ct was not available then) I had Ankylosing Spondilitis. Predominantly a "man" thing not females, but I had 2 second opinions with top class orthopaedic surgeon and Rheumatologist in another town before the diagnosis was given. It stayed with me for 7 years and fortunately pain relief was available for this. At year 7 I was in remission and I had another child, but I made a further appt to see the rheumatologist I trusted out of town because the symptoms of A.S had returned. He took bloods and xrays and told me the A.S was still in remission and that I had Fibro. All the pains I was experiencing were muscle soreness at the tip of joints, very similar to A.S and that taking pain relievers with no relief was the reason I was in so much pain, I couldn,t pick up my child, I couldn,t push the hoover around and I couldn,t stand my husband touching me, my muscles hurt so much touching was taboo! I had a husband who couldn,t see my pain-no swelling no redness and he didn,t believe me, he would often say "you forgot to limp today" In 2013 my daughter started with similar symptoms to A.S and I advised her to get it checked. She too has Fibro not A.S I don,t know which is worsed buy daddy kins is full of remorse now for not believing me and allowing his family to take the Micky out of me..His behaviour cost us our 23 years of marriage..
