Vision Problems
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Has anyone had vision issues due to fibro? My vision seems to be getting worse since I was diagnosed. I use to have 20 20 vision but over the past few years I have started having issues, I started with reading glasses now after today's eye exam I now need glasses all the time I have farsightedness in right eye and nearsightedness in left eye and right eye has astigmatism I have bad headaches all the time as well, maybe glasses will help. Anyone else think fibro may be effecting your vision? 👓😢

Yip..my vision also been affected. I now wear multi focal glasses with anti glare for computer work. They now give me almost perfect vision.
When flare comes....my eyesight gets temp worse. However I do believe that correct eye ware will protect your eyes and vision.

yes it affects my vision. I have gotten the age that I have presbyopia and need glasses anyway but my eyesight hasn't changed in years according to the optometrist. My vision get blurry. I take my glasses off to clean them, to find that it's my eye balls that I need to clean.

I'm not positive I have fibro because I don't have symptoms in the lower half of my body, but I have every symptom on both sides top half. My vision too went from perfect, to barely needing readers, to jumping to a 2 magnification in a matter of weeks. Vision is ALWAYS bad now, but from day to day I go from 2 to having 2 be far too intense to 2 not quite strong enough etc.... I didn't know vision was a fibro symptom. How about brain fog to the point you seem to have early Alzheimer's. That's a bad one for me
