Is Anyone Affected By SAD, Seasonal Affective Disorder? My Normal Depression Gets 10x Worse In The Winter. I Am Dreading This Winter.

My depression gets really bad in the winter, where I don't want to leave the house AT ALL. It has started up this last week and I am dreading the long winter ahead. I have two active teenagers and have to be able to get out to their events. Help!! I'm on Cymbalta (for pain not depression actually) and can't tolerate a higher dosage at all. Take Vitamin D3. I also have SAD. I live in the south where sunshine is the norm, so I cannot stand short gloomy days. Since I have been on D3 (minimum of 10,000 IUs) it is much better.
