I have menopause and we all know how the cold can affect our bodies, I wear tank tops all the time cause of hot flashes but when it comes to the cold any suggestions on finding a happy medium? I sweat with out ac on full blast but at the same time get cold at night from it.

At night, i use thin blankets made of very soft microfibre. Theyre fluffy so dont affect allodynia. I can add or remove layers as needed xx

I do not want to burst your bubble. It may get better one day. I started overheating when I was 30 years old I am now 63 and I have just had to learn to stay away from the heat and try enjoy cooler days. Choc or ice cream melts in seconds if in my hands. If I put a thermometer in my hand it sometimes reaches 42degrees!

There is no happy medium that I have found, I keep the AC on ceiling fans and a floor fan pointed at me at all times, I get a little chill at night and toss a light blanket on and off all night long. It's just like a furnace on high heat inside my body that I can't turn down, I cant even feel cold water or ice if I rub it on my self, it is like I am numb. So bad, I hope it end some day. Hang in there.
