Lyrica put my pain level at a 10 after titrating to the full dose. I could barely move. I was weaned off of Lyrica by my doctor, but I suffered severe withdraw symptoms. So much that I wanted to be strapped to my bed to prevent me from doing something stupid. I survived it, but it wasn't fun.

I would be concerned too, have you told him about your concerns? The trouble is he is a pain specialist so his main focus is going to be pain relief. Would check with the Dr or specialist who put you on your current antidepressants. I also suffer clinical depression and know just how hard it is to find a medication that works, I would be very reluctant to change mine

I take 90mgs of unbalanced and when tried to get off of it my mind went crazy and had intense pain so restarted it again and feel ok. I have also been on Lyrca which made me angry at everyone and everything. Then tried Savella which made me sick and gain weight. So I'm going to stick with the Cymbalta. Hope u find something that gives you some relief!!

I've been on cymbalta for 3 years and have tried to quit taking it so I could find natural ways to help and cymbalta is so addictive I can not go with out for my than 36 hours or I want to scream, and I am afraid to keep trying it any longer my whole body goes into zapping pain all over, my head hurts, I can't concentrate. I am only on 60 milligrams, my fibro has been getting worse lately but if I go to the doctor I'm sure she will want to increase the cymbalta but I really want to get away from it. There are all ready lawsuits that have started because of the withdrawals.

I have tried both and it has done nothing for me so my doctor put me on amitriptyline 100mg and it works good for my depression and insomnia.
