There are 2 types of vit. D. D-2 and D-3. Supposedly the D-3 is the better one. However that doesn't do anything for me. The D-2 is the one that makes the tightness, muscle pain, feel like you can't move go away in 15 minutes. I take 50,000 iu's every week. When I remember to. If I forget then I will notice the symptoms and remember to take it. If the D-3 isn't doing anything, ask your doctor for a scrip for D-2. Hope you feel better soon.

Sounds great..I take 35,000 of D-3 per week, sometimes more. I will try D-2.

I was on 56000 MG for 16 weeks. Mine was extremely low. Hair was coming out. Mouth felt like it was on fire. It did help with the hair loss and the burning mouth. That's all it done, but doc now has me on 2000 MG daily.

I had the blood test and was found to be vitamin D deficient. I have been taking 1,000 mg daily and feel no different. My Dr. suggested taking 2,000 but I felt ill taking that much believe it or not.
