be careful on your dosing for ibruprofen like any anti- inflammatory it can cause elevation in BP. fliud retention, bleeding problems with SSRIs, kidney problems, increased chance for congestive heart flailure, You have to stop prior to surgurt or big dental procedures. the other med also may be compounded and used in a smaller area like the elbow or knees or used in a patch to reduce these systemic effects, but you will probably find that asfar as fibro goes you will need amodal apprach to painful muscles. Warm showers or rubs may be helpful. I liked sombra on amazon. the warming one. there is also a cooling formula. the topical anti-inflammatories that contain a motrin-like med can cause sun sensitivity, orally you should take with food and avoid alcohol because the antiprostaglandins afect the linning of your stomach. Tylenol affects the liver, whereas these detox through the kidneys.
