My blood pressure is usually low but in a normal healthy range. I'm in a bad flare but made myself do a little walk last night which was hard and u felt out of breath and like my heart was racing. My boyfriend was checking his blood pressure on our machine (he has to keep an eye because it's very high) so I took mine and it was 80/65 with a heart rate of 100. Should I be concerned?

My blood pressure has been low since I have been on pain meds. I was told by the nurse at the Dr office that it is a common side effect. BUT I have never seen it written in any articles or on the web any where.

Daisypixie,

I too have had low since I was a teenager. My normal is 90/60. I'm also curios is anyone goes lower during flares. Mine never bothered me, until the Fibro. I also was recently diagnosed this year. I see some have high blood pressure with it. I think the "dizzy" is just part is the Fibro, as I don't have to be extremely low to feel that. The drs told me to eat plenty of salt and lots of water!

I only take a BP med as needed, when I have tachycardia. I have tachycardia during flares for sure, but I don't take the meds unless I can't control the heart rate. I've always had low BP as well, but it seems to get very low during a flare as well. Thank you for all your answers!
