I read an article today that suggested using a daily checklist, to find any trends in your fibro. Any one use one?

Members enthusiastically encouraged someone considering a daily checklist to track fibromyalgia patterns, with many sharing that journaling or tracking has been invaluable despite common memory challenges. Several members recommended practical tools including traditional paper diaries for medications and appointments, pain journals to identify flare triggers, and the My Pain Diary app which allows members to log pain levels, locations, types, accompanying factors like weather and stress, and review trends over time through graphs and charts. A recurring theme was the understanding that memory issues make tracking feel daunting, but the community offered warm encouragement, humor, and even personal accountability offers to help each other stay consistent with the practice.

I use an app on my phone called "My Pain Diary." There is a place to mark pain, what kind of pain, where pain is located, you can add photos, and there is a place to journal what is going on around you (weather, stress, illness, issues with kids, etc.) It also allows you to email your info to your home, doctor, etc. It's really helpful for me. I hope this helps. :)

I use the same as LisaMorrisonLarson. My Pain Diary is awesome. You can look back and see a graph of your pain for weeks and months in addition to all the stuff she mentions

By having a diary you will be able to review what has happened.
I am soooo forgetful.
I put all my appointments & keep a record of my meds.
I also have a pain book, this helps in case something changes.

Hi Nanette.
I keep a diary.
I have a book that I keep as a record of all my meds & other things, as I often forget to take my meds if I get distracted.
Keeping a record of things is a huge help.
It's worth doing it.
I'm having memory loo & trouble with recall, so having a record really keeps me on track.
