Love my gabepentin. I had my dr write my script 1200 mg three times a day. I only take 600 3x a day. But my insurance co pay is $30 for 90 days. It is the same price regardless. So my 90 day really truly last 180 days. At night if I'm bad I will take an extra gabepentin, with my norco.

I take this 900mg three times a day. I built up to this dose and have even increased but that was too much. It did make me very dizzy and tired at first, but this does subside. It has helped with the pain, but the fibro 'fog' has increased. I prefer to be a bit 'spacey' and in less pain, but it's maybe not for everyone! But give it a try, I had tried so much before this and nothing had come close . I wouldn't now be without it. However it is in no way a cure. I still get considerable pain. I just wish there was an answer to all our prayers xx

Gabapentin works for nerve pain . Non-diabetic peripheral neuropathy is very common with fibromyagia. It helps great for that but not for spasms. Need a muscle relaxor . Gabapentin needs to be taken at a dose of at least 600mg 3xday to be effective enough. Hope this helps. ☺ 💜

I was on Gabapentin for many years at 800 MG 4x a day. I was always feeling loopy and didn't know why until I picked up a lyrica plampet. One of the side affects was feeling high in large print. I knew they were different meds, but not by much. I chose then to get on lyrica. I still had the side effects, but not as bad. I still have alot of pain so I chose to start savella. I was scared at first about all the side effects but I guess the pain has out weighed my fears. Just got it today. Can't start till tomorrow because I'm on paxil at the moment. Pharmacy didn't recommend me taking both. Since I just started the paxil a week ago and took it yesterday, I will take savella today. I hope I am one that will get some good results from it.

gabapentin helped a LOT with the pain. it also caused a lot of anxiety and excitement. went back to the old standard, lyrica
