Has movement and exercise worked for anyone else ?? I'm afraid because it hurts so bad to even move at times but I really need some kind of relief HELP
I'm sorry, I should have stopped to realize that without my pain medication, which is the Butrans transdermal patch, I'd be mud. My apologies. As I have had Fibromyalgia for many years, it's only today, that I've even ever chatted with other sufferers. This will be a great learning experience for me, as I've yet to understand what others experience. Lots of days are a 9-10 , where today is a 5-6. I wish you better day's. To even turn on the teli, could be a task. Thank you for sharing! God Bless
Any exercise is good for you to do especially in the pool. That is the best place. Just try to stretch some each day and try to keep moving.
I think the worst possible thing you could do, is to sit idle. It's even more crippling. Get yourself up with all yiur might, and start stretching and get some sort of exercise, i find that cycling does it for me, as it's low impact m much like the swimming. Find some enjoyment in life to help get your mind out of the fog, and misery.
I have been going down to the river to swim. I can do movements in the water that I can no longer do on land. My back is getting stronger and more mobile. It still hurts, but this is the first hope I have felt about getting any better in a long time. I have been a few times, and intend to do it regularly. I wear an Aquajogger, which is a floatation device that you fasten on. They are available on Amazon and Ebay. It allows you to stay suspended with your head well above the water while you do a running motion. I love to run, and this is the only way I can now. It feels good, because you can move without feeling any pressure on any tender points. When I am in the water, most of the pain goes away for a while, which is a very welcome relief!
If there is anyway you can get into some water and move, I would highly recommend it!
Thank you
