Has anyone been on Guafenesin? I'm reading "What Your Doctor Probably Won't Tell You About Fibromyalgia". The author mentions this drug.

Thanks in advance!

Members shared mixed experiences with guaifenesin for fibromyalgia, with most reporting little to no improvement in their symptoms, though a few noted meeting others who did see benefits or found it helpful for clearing chest congestion. Several members emphasized the protocol's extreme difficulty, particularly the requirement to eliminate all topical salicylate products, with one member sharing they were a patient of Dr. St. Amand (the protocol's creator) but even he acknowledged it wasn't working for them after a while. A recurring theme was the agreement that while there is no cure for fibromyalgia, the community remains open to trying anything that might relieve symptoms, balanced with healthy skepticism about treatments claiming to reverse or cure the condition.

There is no cure for Fibro. Anyone who claims they can cure it are misleading people. Their treatment can help like so many things out there can help. But no cure.

No just live in the country with a lot of land. We did raise cows when I was younger. When I get desperate enough I would hold my nose and swallow anything to help...lol. This liquid Amino Sculpt looks like tar and taste sooooo bad, but I just take it.

I understand. I told my husband I would pick grass with the cattle if it would help me.

I've read articles about it as well. I have a hard time believing that something like that is out there that will "cure" or "reverse" fibro and it is not widespread knowledge. Let me know if anyone else has success with it.

It keeps posting! I would recommend getting a book explaining how to interpret chemical names. I think it was by a woman named Winters. It was recommended by Dr. St. Amand so it's probably in the book. I'd also pick up the book by Claudia Maren. She is the doctors assistant. Fondly referred to as "Nurse Claudia" by everyone who has met her. Maybe it's Marek?. Probably on his website. Best wishes and gentle hugs
