Okay, so since i was young i had reading glasses because my eyes took a few to focus doctor called it lazy eye muscles and the reading glasses have helped. However since this pain started a year ago, my blurriness occurs longer and even randomly my vision goes blurry and i have to blink several times to correct it and sometimes that does not work. Has anyone experienced this

Members connected over the frustrating experience of unexplained blurry vision that started or worsened alongside their chronic pain, with many noting that their eye doctors found nothing wrong despite having perfect 20/20 vision on paper. Several members shared practical strategies that have helped them manage the issue, including using artificial tears or eye drops for dry eyes, trying warm compresses to open tear glands, taking doxycycline for insufficient lipid production, adjusting reading glass prescriptions as needed, and checking medication side effects like gabapentin or cymbalta. A recurring theme was the relief of realizing this vision problem is a common fibromyalgia symptom rather than something imagined, though members also emphasized ruling out other causes like diabetes or medication interactions with an eye doctor who understands chronic illness.

It's funny, I never equated my eyes going blurry to fibro. I'll ask my eye dr about it when I see her next. Now I know I'm not alone

My eyes go blurry a lot but my eye dr says I have 20/20. Doesn't make sense

I have difficulty focusing as well. I just blink until it passes.

Holy moly I get this now too! I've always had 15/20 vision meaning I can see at 20 feet what most people can see at 15 (that's how to was explained to me). It is odd to me that since my chronic pain started over a year ago I started noticing thus occuring.
