Why Are My Muscles So Tight In My Upper Back & Calf Muscles ? They Say This Is A Cns Disease But Is The Pain Causing The Muscles To Spasm

Massage helps, add some magnesium to your diet and do some stretches (very slow easy stretches). That should help. My calf muscles spasm all the time because of the swelling in my knee giving the nerves grief. Since I have been taking magnesium it has helped with the spasms and now I only have some light cramping if I don't drink enough fluids for the day.

I was having terrible calf & foot spasms & muscle cramps. It seems like they come in clusters for a few days then get better for a while, then come again. After the first one I know there will be several more for the rest of the night & the next day. My Dr. Monitors my labs & my potassium, Vit D, Calcium, etc. are all normal, so not sure why I have this problem. Anyway, one night my amazing Husband came home with a bottle of pills that really changed our life. Now after I get the first one I just take 2-3 capsules & I'm fine for the next 12 hours, which is awesome compared to jumping up screaming bloody murder every half hour- which is good b/c I was afraid I was gonna give my Husband a heart attack! You can get them at Walgreens, their called "Hylands Leg Cramp" pills. Google the picture of it before you go so you know what you're looking for. I hope they help others as much as they help me! If they do help anyone else that I've recommended them to, please let me know that they worked for you- I would truly appreciate the feedback. I often wonder if others have as much success getting relief from them as I do.
