Members connected over the complex overlap of Graves disease, fibromyalgia, and rheumatoid arthritis, sharing their personal journeys with these overlapping autoimmune conditions. Several members clarified that Graves disease persists even after treatment with radioactive iodine or thyroid removal, though some manage it with medication while others become hypothyroid, and many expressed concern about the difficult medication side effects and long wait times to see rheumatologists. A recurring theme was the financial and emotional struggle of managing multiple chronic conditions while trying to work, with heartfelt encouragement to apply for Social Security disability and seek support from specialists who can provide proper documentation and treatment.

I applied for SSI today. I just don't think I have my doctors support so I'm hoping to get help from rheumatologist.
