Is There A Particular Style Of Yoga That Has Helped Anyone Here?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I need a stretching type class because I'm so bad at doing things to help my situation at home. My thigh muscles are much tighter than any others and it causes my knee caps to pull up. I have trouble with lounges and various other positions but when I stretch it helps.

Hi I recommend Hatha Yoga which is gentle and stretching, or Pilates. I tried Iyenger yoga too but that was too strenuous for me. Hope this helps and good luck!

I do mine at home and I do the ones that are comfortable. But then once in awhile I do some of the more challenging ones. My balance is my worse issue. I use some of the u tube yoga classes once in awhile but mostly I play calming music and do my own thing. Then I meditate afterwards

I'm not up on my styles of Yoga but stretches are invaluable and you don't have to be doing yoga to get in a good stretch.

If you are taking yoga just find a class that does gentle stretches, stay away from hot yoga, or any advanced classes.
