I have trouble getting my feet to walk a lot of times. I can be in the car for a 15 minute ride and when I get out of the car I can't get my feet to work. I am in a lot of pain and have difficulty walking. I end of limping badly. It is very noticeable. I don't know what to do.

Members connected over the shared struggle of debilitating foot and leg pain that makes walking difficult, particularly after sitting or when first standing up, with many describing burning sensations, stabbing pains, legs giving way, and severe limping that feels impossible to explain or control. Several members shared strategies they use to manage mobility challenges, including ankle braces, walking sticks or canes, Epsom salt soaks, taking time to stand and stretch before walking, and pursuing physical therapy referrals despite slow medical responses. A recurring theme was the frustration of doctors attributing symptoms to fibromyalgia without offering solutions, balanced by a fierce determination to maintain independence and not let the condition take away beloved activities like driving or horseback riding.

There's a lot of times, that I go to get up and walk and my feet burn and hurt as well as my legs hurting and I end up limping. I have to stand up and take my time before I try to walk, otherwise, I'm limping. It's a pain in the butt!!!!! I also have a cane, but have not used it yet.

I am starting to get days where I find it hard to walk.. but I am too stubborn to let it stop me. I want to keep going and I do not that it is a benefit just I could not lose my independence to be honest that would kill me as I enjoy horseback riding when I can and I love driving at times.

I too have tremendous foot pain daily. My massage therapist tells me she sees Plantars Faciitis and Raynauds, but I still need to see my GP to get diagnosed.
