OMG! a few weeks ago I had a very painful knot in my chest that felt like I was being stabbed. Couldn't breathe. I thought I was having a heart attach. I went to the hospital to tell me it wasn't .. thankfully! all my doctor told me was I had a inflammation of the tissue/muscle. He told me it could be my Fibro. I didn't know Fibro could cause this..

I have experienced this. We were out rving last Memorial Day weekend, and I had a severe attack. I thought I was having a heart attack. My Dr. Thought it might be my allergies. It hurt to breath. I have had two small attacks since then. I am so happy I read this post. I have read everything I can find on fibro., but never came across the article that your link sent me to. Thank you!

yes it is brutal....I have it...thought I was having a heart attack the first time cus it was isolated on the left side down around my left breast....total heart symptoms.... lordy lordy!!! anytime! better to read it for yourself because I don't know what will pertain to you. ;-)

I get costochondritis at times too... been getting that since i was a kid.
