I was a premature baby in the 1960's. I wonder what type of meds did doctors give premies to strengthen their lungs and could it be the cause of having fibro later on in life?
I was 7 weeks premature and I have fibro but this was in the 80s. I was born with pneumonia and spend I think 2 months in an incubator.
Interesting...I was a premie born in the 60's as well. I've been looking at things that were new(or unique) to our generation (TV dinners, mosquito trucks, massive preservatives), never thought to research back to my birth. My neuro says some of my problems resulted from being a small premie but I've never discussed it with my Fibro doctor. I might bring that up later this month.
I was two weeks late being born. My Mother suffered terrible morning sickness though.
I think it's more of what is sprayed on our food that is grown on large farms. Caged cattle not eating natural grass that's not treated with pesticides. I've heard our wheat doesn't even grown as tall as it used to, that its not even wheat anymore. People many years ago people didn't have these problems. They are a lot better quality food. Like it is said you only get out what you put in.
I wonder was it something in our bodies...because being a premie...and have fibro makes me wonder .......
