There was something I used to take when I first got sick. Starts with a G (gabopentin) or something like that. It is a anti seizure medication I believe, also for diabetic nerve pain. My whole body would be on fire. Luckily after changing my diet,no processed food of any kind, I don't get the nerve pain anymore. And it was BAD! So don't give up friends.

No, there is something out there for you. You have to keep researching and trying things. When my doctors told me there was nothing else they can do for me I started looking into Chinese Herbs. I found one that helps me sleep at night. If I don't get at least 7-8 hrs sleep everything is worse. This herb has helped.

It complicates matters when you have more than one thing wrong with you. I have downloaded so many articles on everything that I have wrong. Now I'm going through each problem one at a time (just started this) and writing down possibilities of things to try. It may be an herb, meditation technique, type of foods, whatever it is I'm going to try it one at a time. My problem is I'm a procrastinator so it's taking a long time.

I was suicidal in my later teens due to childhood abuse but I got through that and it no longer bothers me. I was suicidal when the pain got so bad that I couldn't get up. Then I found things to live for. I will say that I have focused a lot on God's word and reading/studying the Bible. This has also helped me to have a more positive outlook.

It's very difficult to deal with the pain...we all know that. All I ask is you do some research on everything that is wrong and start writing down things that could be tried. On this site I have found some other sites to look at and some ideas to look up and try. We are all here for you. There is something out there that will help you, just keep trying.

I used to get a tramadol shot in my butt once a month for that same reason. Like burning and numb aren't enough. Let's throw some itchy in there too. Once I had to pound my hands on the steering wheel all the way to the doctors office because it was bugging me so bad. UGH. Those were some bad times. I'll have to remember that the next time I feel sorry for myself cuz I think I'm having a bad day. Don't ever want to go back there again. Really awful. A TIP FOR THE ITCHING - I always felt much better if I would put some lotion on the place that's really bothering you. For me it was my hands and feet. They still get weird but not like they used to. I still put lotion every day when I start feeling that tingly itchy thing coming on. Give it a try. It really helps. If it happens on your feet, put socks on after the lotion. Stopped my restless leg problems at night.

My legs, my feet, arms.... basically all over. To me it feels like bee stings. Someone told me to soak in the tub but that made it ten times worse.
