You can research on line what food are good and not good to eat. There is a lot of information out there. You can 'google' it and will get a lot of resources.

If I drink orange juice or tomato juice, or eat raw tomatoes (I can eat spaghetti sauce, etc) I will have a flare up. It's mainly trial and error. What works for one, may or may not work for you.

I seem not to have a metabolism at all lol my active days come and go often more go than come. I found eating less than 20 grams of carbs a day and a diet high in good fats is the only way I can loose and I have tried it ALL true story. I have read that gluten free diets help fibro but not sure that I have seen any difference google low carb high fat diets very healthy way of living and doable for me Everyone is different of course. It is the best diabetic diet too. Some people loose on as many as 50 grams a day and they should all be good carbs. Atkins is a very good plan. I hate their frozen meals though. Just read labels. Meat, cheese and fish and eggs have 0 carbs and you can eat all yu want. I choose the lowest carb veggies only as my carbs. I have real whipping cream and butter in my coffee and coconut oil too when I have it. out of it right now do do list! I belong to a group on FB called low carb and loosing it and it has thousands of members with before and after pics of huge wt losses, testimonies of diabetics going off insulin recipes, tips and more more more! Awesome supportive and informative group. You have to just join it as it is all private. If you do click on Files at top and read read and study it. Full of great info and recipes. the good fats are very good for heart patients. Docs are not all on to it yet but they will be as many are amazed at the improvement in wt loss and labs. I have lost 30 lbs on it. Had to share this!

I can't tolerate milk anymore (I use lactose free) and greasy or sugary foods make me feel sluggish and flu like. I just want to go to sleep. Learning to avoid or at least keep them to a minimum.

I have been able to beat most of the fibro fog by eating organic food. Pesticides make things a lot worse.
