Has anyone else experienced an out of body feeling, like your looking at yourself from outside your own body or your limbs feeling like they dont belong to you??
Hi Shawna: i have only been having these episodes since taking ganapentin and sertraline so assumed it was to do with that?!
Warren: yes my dreams are very vivid and real too. I dont know when im awake or dreaming sometimes.
Iv had amitriptyline in the past and felt like everytime my body would realx to sleep i would get a sudden panic that i was falling from a cliff. Was so horrible. I stopped taking them shortly after. Gabapentin seems to work ok with the pain but the side effects and pain are balanced and i dont feel its worth it. Im now doing physio and hydrotherapy which i hope will help.
not that, but I do get sleep paralysis if I initially start falling asleep on my back, and I also get the night terrors that go with it.. It is horrible.
I haven't experienced that but my dreams have gotten very "vivid", like "real".
Hi. Yes I have had this experience. I always assumed it was detaching during times of high stress or sadness. The term psych's like to call it disassociation which could stem from PTSD or some type of extreme trauma.
