Members overwhelmingly confirmed experiencing sudden, electric shock-like pains behind the ear or head that can be intense enough to cause flinching or bring someone to their knees, with many expressing relief at learning they weren't alone in this frightening symptom. Several members described similar sensations occurring in their face, neck, ears, and throughout their body, with one member mentioning a diagnosis of trigeminal neuralgia and another comparing the feeling to shingles pain or being hit with a baseball bat. A recurring theme was the fear and confusion surrounding these unpredictable shocks, the comfort found in shared experiences, and the validation that this could indeed be fibromyalgia-related rather than something more serious like a tumor.

Yes I have had this for along time, years. Then it started happening all over my body. Feels like the pain I had when I had shingles a couple of yrs ago.
