Sounds like a form of neuropathy. I don't have that. I wish I could suggest something...

I have been doing fairly well, but we’ve had crazy cold and then warm weather. I am now having a flare up which is causing pain in my ankles, hips, arms, and shoulders.😔
I have more flare-ups due to the weather ❄️ 🔆 as well. I pray we all feel better soon
When I have a Fibromyalgia flare up I get lumps under my skin. They are very painful and have to be treated with prescription 5% lidocaine patches. Sometimes body shots, sometimes shots at the pain points. My arms sometimes look like a roller coaster. My lumps are on my upper shoulders, both arms, the middle and lower of my back, and sometimes on my thighs. No one can touch them because I will cry out in pain.
