Low Blood Pressure
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have been hearing people talk about a lack of oxygen to the brain being a cause of inflammation, etc. I've seen where some say hyperbaric oxygen can cure fibromyalgia. So as I looked for ways to increase oxygen to the brain (exercise is certainly one), I find where low blood pressure will decrease oxygen to the brain. Wow, I have low blood pressure. The other night it was 81/60, though it is usually 90/70. Do any of you have consistently low blood pressure? Cause maybe this is one path to… read more

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Tell me something you are thankful for today and why.

I am thankful for my husband because he helps so much with my Fibro. He make sure that I get my medication taken, that I get the rest that I need, eating well, he massages me, and generally believes and understands my life as it is now

Did Anyone Else Think They Had Dementia Or Some Form Of Cognitive Impairment Prior To Realizing It Was Fibro Fog?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have struggled with my memory on and off for the past 25 years and always blamed it on my anxiety. More recently, I thought I might have dementia because my memory has been getting worse. It wasn’t until I read an article on fibro fog that I even considered it could be something else causing my forgetfulness. I honestly believe that for me, the fog is more debilitating than the pain and other symptoms I have. I am curious what everyone else experiences are in terms of fibro fog and do you… read more

Is Tramadol Nonnarcotic? Where Do I Find A Good Doctor.
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anybody know what kind of doctor I could go see if that would help with my pain management I swear I've tried everything and I can't find a doctor that will prescribe me tramadol .I have had addiction issues and chemical dependency in the past. But now they're saying it's a narcotic? It's ridiculous I feel like I have no quality-of-life. I'm 40 years old and have more problems than an 80-year-old. I don't feel person should have to suffer. Does anybody have any suggestions?

A MyFibroTeam Member

My doctor also wants to take me off of tramadol. It is the only thing that makes my body ankle to move. I don't understand.
