I used it for awhile. However the longer I was on it the more I needed a higher dose. I met with a rheumatologist who stated that the more one used Tramadol, the more the pain screams and the more Tramadol dosage one will want. He expressed his desire to take me off of that and put me on Gabapentin, which was a lot better for me and I gradually I worked up to 800 mg every 8 three times a day which has worked for me ever since.

I have used it for over 20 years with no side affects. I didn't think it was working so I tried withdrawal from it. Pain increased substantially after a few days. I take 200m extended release twice a day.

Tried it and initially it worked with the pain, but only for a few times. The side effects I had were not tolerable, urinary retention, headaches, dizziness and irritability. Diminishing returns on alleviating pain caused me to discontinue using it. This may not happen with you, I'm sensitive to many medications. Hope you find it works out for the long term. πŸ’œ

Hi Linda, I don't want to alarm you, but Tramadol is one of the worst painkillers made. Yes it works, it also damages your body. My present gp weaned me off of them, I had been on them for years too! Please ask your doctor for a different painkiller. With Tramadol, it's still an opiate, there are others out there that don't harm you or as addictive as Tramadol is. Lots of doctors like Tramadol because it's time released. It lasts longer in your body. But it's still harmful. Just thought you might like to know should you decide to use it. I can't remember if I told you I friended you onto my Fibro Team, I hope you do the same. Looking forward to getting to know you better! Take Care. Be Well..........Til Later Thea2 😊
