When To Worry About Swollen Lymph Node?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Ever since I have had issues with the autoimmune junk I have had a lymph node in my neck getting swollen and hard. Sometimes the lymph node will go down but then it will get hard again and stick around for a good month or so.

I had a terrible ear infection about a month ago where my ear drum ruptured and the ENT told me that a swollen lymph node can indicate an infection (wherever the lymph node is, then the infection is somewhere higher up). That being said, I have also read that swollen… read more

Swollen Lymph Nodes For Months
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hello,

Has anyone experienced consistently swollen lymph nodes in the neck? I have had two on one side that refuse to go down and it's been months. Seeing an ENT tomorrow and getting anxious. Tonight I'm trying a professional lymphatic massage. I'm starting to wonder if I have CFS as well. Thanks

Inner Elbow Swelling
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I woke up 2 days ago with the inside arm crease swollen up. It's not red or warm. Just hard and swollen, not tender when touched either. When I bend my arm though there is a bit of discomfort. When I bend my arm the lump or swelling seems to disappear. Only when it is completely straightened it is visible. Anyone ever have this???

it's typically a swollen lymph node--either from an infection nearby or yes, fibro makes lymph nodes swell suddenly. They may or may not be tender (mine are)

Swollen Lymph Nodes In Neck For Months
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hello all,

I recently noticed two large lymph nodes in my neck and am wondering if anyone else gets swollen lymph nodes with fibro. One lymph node was measured in an ultra sound at 2.6 cm. It was deemed benign and reactive but it is not going away. It has been 2 months and I am seeing an ENT next week.

I know fibro does not cause inflammation but is it likely to have recurrent infections which may cause such continued lymph node inflammation ?

Thank you all. I look forward to sharing my… read more
