At the start of a new fibro flare my throat glands swell and I get a sore throat for 2 or 3 days. Sometimes a flare will start before the previous one has ended, anyone else get this?
Yes, I think I am getting a cold, and I never do. I nap about 15 min. 3or4times a day.
How long on average does a flare up of symptoms usually last. I'm quite newly diagnosed but I m still struggling with daily fatigue. I'm taking herbal suppliments to help me get a few hours sleep and same for energy but nothing works

My Dr thinks flares should only last 2 days.
My longest full body flare lasted about 3 weeks...it was horrible...brain fog was terrible too. The cold weather brought it on for me. I can not be out in extreme temperatures...I flare every time.
I have Fibromyalgia and this is my fifth day of a significant flare. I get a little energy back, but it is used up doing the smallest of things. My Dr. Keeps asking me if I am depressed. I don't feel depressed really. I just feel exhausted!

So when i get my flares i get pain in my legs, chest, arms, neck and head. Everytime ive had a flare lately though in addition to my usual symptoms and pain ive been getting pain under my left rib. i find the easiest way to tell the difference is when you have additionall or more extreme versions of your symptoms. personally some of my flare up symptoms seem to change with the seasons. in the… read more
