For me, more times than not, day and night, I'm getting the all over flushing, sweats....and after a year or so of tolerating it, and being miserable, I've finally found that doubling up on my already high dose of vitamen D and using two kinds of magnesium everyday has reduced them by nearly 75%! And if I totally stick to a 100% processed food free diet, it's even better. So, at least 10000 iu's of D, and 750mg mag malate, and the other mag, starts with a "G", and I've got relief. Yeah to doing my own research.....

I have chronic burning pain, where minimal activity and sometimes even minimal movement causes me to sweat. This can happen at any time of the day for me. BUT from what I have read about — cold sweats, I’d have to say no.

“Cold sweats happen when you suddenly feel a chill in your body that occurs alongside abnormal sweating, regardless of how hot or cold it is in your environment.

Cold sweats commonly appear in your:
* palms
* armpits
* soles
*
Unlike normal sweating, cold sweats aren’t a result of heavy exercise or high temperatures.

Cold sweats usually don’t happen across your entire body and aren’t limited to when you’re in bed or sleeping at night (night sweats).”

Problems with temperature control: fibromyalgia can make it difficult to control your temperature, meaning we are often way too cold or experiencing hot flashes.
