Curious to know how many of you have had mono or Epstein Barr Virus in your lifetime? Yes/No/No Idea?
I had mono/EBV at 16 or so in High school. I missed a month of school and was hospitalized for two weeks. I did a huge paper on it for biology class the following year. Of course, not realizing that it may have significance later in my life, I wish I'd hung onto that paper!

Since 95% of the adult world population carry EBV, I would say yes, but really I don't know. I could be in that 5%. I've never been tested.
I had mono twice and carry the Epstein Barr twice. I also had hepatitis when I had mono. It took a year out of my life. The doctors told me hardly anyone gets mono twice and if they do, they don't survive the second time. God has always shone down on me.
