Has anyone else observed their symptoms evolving and changing over time? When this began, I had moments of fatigue, but it was mostly pain and head stuff. My energy levels were actually high, and I had a hard time calming down. Now... a lack of energy is my biggest issue. Fatigue and intolerance to activity. After researching this thing so much, it's like I went from sympathetic dominant to now parasympathetic dominant.
My symptoms are similar as I was sick as a child when I was in the heat working in huge family vegetable gardens. I felt better in later years in other seasons. I then got whooping cough at age 14. After that, my energy level decreased until I got pregnant with my first child. I then got a lot of energy after he was born. I was able to go nonstop almost hyperenergy. Over time however my energy got less and less. Now I have what I call a lack of energy. I have to use my little bit of energy bank very wisely. I get up more tired than when I go to bed. Hugs and prayers. God bless.
It seems that every time I manage to "control" (survive) my current symptoms fibro always manages to give me some fun new ones. While it's not the same as your situation, I started with just wrist and leg pain, then back pain started, then nerve pain, then fatigue, then foot pain etc. It's not technically considered a degenerative condition but it sure feels that way.
My fatigue has gotten worse over time and I also have intolerance to activity.. right now I am recovering from Christmas and spending time with my granddaughter. Big flare followed by intense fatigue..resting and sleeping mostly.
I have found one of the most frustrating things is I donβt know why or what is causing my various symptoms.
I have the same problem -although I never know if my throbbing pain & fatigue is a result of my depression ,my fibro.,or my degenerative joint disease ..ugh
