I agree with @A MyFibroTeam Member that it is Costochondritis I get that as well painful ribcage back and front as well as the sternum. Sometimes it can scare you when you have chest pains it feels like you are having a heart attack, when you do get pains like that, they are muscle spasms but it is always good to get checked out by the ER so they can do an EKG for your own peace of mind.
Costochondritis also makes it hard to breathe as well at times.
It is something that many people here on the Fibro Website have to learn to live with.
I get a prescription off my Doctor for Panadiene Forte. It does help with the pain.

Many Blessings to You and have a great Weekend. Stay Safe and Sound.

I agree. Sounds like chostochroditis. Warmth helps me. Try those thermacare patches and wear them overnight. Soak in a hot tub and put a small amount of CBD oil in the water w/ Epsom salts. I go on short term anti-inflammatory meds as well, but sounds like that isn't an option for you.

Sarah🌷, Yes it sounds like Costochondritis. I and many others have it. I was diagnosed with it after Fibro and going to ER twice. If you google it, it will explain it better than I can here. Keep in mind that many things can have the same symptoms, so you should check with your Dr. Not everything is Fibro related. After going to ER the 2 separate times, I was relieved it wasn’t heart. My Costo comes and goes, but more frequent lately, and in winter. I hope you get some answers so you know for sure🌷. I’m sending you healing hugs🦋🌸🦋, Deb
