Doctor In Los Angeles
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hey
I just moved to Los Angeles from Denmark and are looking to try some new treatment for my Fibromyalgia. In Denmark they don't know much about Fibromyalgia which is why I am excited to try new treatments in LA. Does anyone know a good doctor in Los Angeles who knows about fibromyalgia treatments? Maybe someone who has knowledge about LDN. Has anyone tried LDN and does it work?
Rebecca :)

Inflammation And Fibromyalgia.
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

There seems to be conflicting opinion on whether there is inflammation associated with fibromaylgia or not.

"Although fibromyalgia is often considered an arthritis-related condition, it is not truly a form of arthritis (a disease of the joints) because it does not cause inflammation or damage to the joints, muscles, or other tissues."

Discuss.

Is Arthritis In The Hands Common With Fibromyalgia?

Over the past few months I have had increasingly painful jabs in my hand. Sometimes I can’t even open my hand enough to open a door with a door knob. Is this common? If so, what should I do?

Pregnancy With Fibromyalgia
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi everyone I found out I was pregnant 2 weeks ago, I really worried about how I’m going to deal with the pregnancy. I came of all medication once I found out and I’ve been in pain since, not sleeping and just feeling exhausted. I know pregnancy in general makes you feel like crap but some days I’ve been in tears with the pain! Just wanted to see how others who have had a pregnancy with Fibro have coped.

Many thanks xx

Inflamation Or Not?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I keep reading different and hearing different answers...is Fibromyalgia an inflamation issue? Does it cause it? Is it a result of it?

A MyFibroTeam Member

I constant battle inflammation with my sinuses, bladder and colon. It would make sense that since our body is constantly on overload that we would have inflamation.

Infalammation? Inflammatory?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have a dumb question:
What do you mean when you say this food increases inflammation?
What inflammation do you mean? Nerve, joints?

I read this word every day in your chats and I don't get it.

I read some months ago that fibro has nothing to do with inflammation.
