Cold
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anyone else seem to be cold and achy at bedtime? I swear every night I'm chilled to the bone and need three blankets and socks just to wake up hot and sweaty!

I have always called this my "broken thermostat syndrome". My extremities are like icicles! Nose, feet, hands, even my thighs feel icy to the touch. Contrarily, there are times I feel like there's sulfuric acid running through my veins; my blood vessels dilate and I feel like my flesh is burning up. So weird and hard to describe...at least to someone who doesn't have fibro...*SIGH*😖

YES! Achy all the time, but FREEEEEEEEZING every night, and same situation you described! Fibro does seem to cause temperature sensitivity, so you are not alone...Take care!!!

It's so nice to get affirmations that this is not imagined, made up, or any of the other adjectives used by those who don't "get" it. I wish none of us had to know first hand what this is like. Love and gentle hugs to you (all)...
