Actually, I think i read that a lot of states said they are fiscally strapped because their monies have been put into emergency services dealing with other escalting covid costs.

I did find an article about Nevada vaccinating the prison inmates according to a rigid tier system. That's insane too! Both the inmates and the guards should be treated as priority. Even though there are individual cells, the entire prison is one giant open air transmissible pitri dish.

Nevada is not alone in its reckless prison population vaccine rollout.

There has been a lot of attention devoted to that fact. I mention the topic because the article I found regarding Nevada stated that Nevada was using a very complicated tier system to go into the prisons and vaccinate. No sanity on show there!

Iowa's governor made an announcement tonight that made it sound like everything was smooth sailing but we'll see. I think most the States are waiting on the Biden presidency and the federal monies to flow to fully launch the next big stages. President-elect Biden has stated full locomotive power and laser beam focus on getting everyone vaccinated and financing the logistics immediately.

Yes they are doing prisoners and homeless first. And the new tier is called buckets but they have no idea how to get the vaccines out yet. I called the pharmacies and they have nothing yet on how or when. No programs set up or anything. Can’t even register to get one. But yes I do believe it is political.
