Am thinking of starting yoga in the new year. Does anyone do it already and would you recommend it to help with the pain?
I found that I did feel better doing Yoga. I found a YouTube clip for only about 5 minutes. I tried the 45 min yoga and I did not make it through the warm up before I was exhausted. Pace and rest.
Yes, yoga, tai chi and chi gong . I went to 3 national tai chi and chi gong workshops with Dr Paul Lam who has several online . He is known as the international expert .
yes, Chi gong that is the youtube clip that I had for 6 minutes. It was soothing and relaxing.
Yeah i do 10 minutes before bed to keep the muscles moving. Sarah beth yoga on you tube does yoga for all levels from 10 minutes upwards. Let us know how you get on xx
My rheumatologist suggested yoga. I started last May and it does help. Go slow, though. And if something hurts, don't do it - back out of the pose or do a variation. I follow Shelley Dawson in Instagram- she leads mediations and yoga practices live sometimes and she usually goes slow through the poses. I have a NordicTrack that hubby uses for a bike and I use for yoga, but there are a lot of videos out there for free on YouTube if you want to try before committing to a class or a pay program.
