Many members on here say they benefit from magnesium malate and I did research and found that there are many forms of magnesium and they do different things.
Here is a website link that explains the different types. I based my choice on this article so I'll find out if it works.
In the end I opted for a powder form because I enjoy making protein drinks with added elements like powder turmeric and hemp protein. I also try to avoid gelatin capsules.

The article that I linked in the question describes magnesium malate as being recommended by doctors as being beneficial for fibromyalgia.
So I was going to order magnesium malate 🤷♀️ but the article went on to describe a different form of magnesium that was helpful for both brain function and sugar level regulation so I opted to order that one.
It's a very interesting article and I encourage the reading of it. I had no idea there were so many forms of magnesium and their specific functions in the body.🤔
I'm unaware of any magnesium deficiency that I have (blood test normal) so this calls into question, what does our blood level magnesium actually get tested for and secondly assuming that we don't have magnesium deficiencies (over this broad range of subtypes) do we have an absorption issue or something within the brain that's not triggering the right response to it?
See how determined we are to self heal in the absence of a bona fide solution?
Thanks, Claire. We used to have a health food store on Joseph Howe Drive. It has moved. It was called the Healthy Bug. I will have to check online to see where it moved to. I was to a gynecologist appointment yesterday. I have a yeast infection from hell that will not go away. I have a prescription for more powerful drugs that will hopefully blast this infection to the moon. I am glad that you were able to find a product that worked for you. I will look into it. Maybe check on Amazon as well. Take care. Stay well. I see where people in the UK are getting vaccinated. I hope it keeps them well.
i use this i put it on straight after a shower i found i help
I use a spray oil for calming & leg cramps at night. And I mix it with shea butter and apply as a lotion. Works well for me.
My dr said the malate was best for fibromyalgia. Who knows??
