My doc has recommended I try a plant based diet in order to reduce inflammation, as recent research has shown this may help with Fibro pain.
Has anyone tried this? Did it help?
Yeah it definitely works for some. I also need a high protein and high iron diet for my muscles. Sugar is my worst enemy. Also, this is random, but I started taking Buried Treasure Prenatal liquid vitamins a couple years ago and itβs helped me the most with Fibro. Something about the liquid vitamins helps my system absorb better. So if you go veggie and need more iron that could be a way to go (definitely ask a doctor first with anything iron related)
Most of us canβt sleep well with fibromyalgia. Have you tried the cbd tincture they have with 1% THC? My friend says it works great for sleep. How high was the THC in the gummy you took? A lot of us are sensitive to high doses of THC.
Over the counter sleep medication containing Advil or Tylenol with the clinical name for Benadryl help some. π€π€π€ @A MyFibroTeam Member
I have to be careful of sugar. it can make me ache more and not sleep and need to be very careful with caffeine after about 1 or 2 bc i really have problems sleeping. which brings me to a question??? anyone else have trouble sleeping at night? when I try and go to sleep I cant sleep bc my body hurts so toss and turn and up and down. I have tried a lot and nothing seems to work. I got a medical marijuana card last Nov. it took me until apr to find the right gummy to work BUT then about 3 mo later I started having real issues remembering simple things and I got agitated easily and that's not me so I quit and about 3 wks later I was doing better but cant sleep again either. frustrating!
I was just talking about this to someone yesterday as i feel awful today and the only thing i did differently yesterday was eat meat at 2 meals,, i dont usually eat that much meat ,, so i am going to try to get back to less of it
Going veggie might be worth a try. I know I can't drink smoothie though so don't know if that's because of the extra fruits or if the fruits turn to sugars when blended π€·ββοΈ
