Wondering what regimens anyone uses on a daily basis to help relieve symptoms or get through the day. Medications, vitamins, etc.
I don’t use any narcotics anymore. I was totally hooked for 5 yrs. haven’t had and since 2012. I have come to reAlize that narcotics make things way worse. I basically drink lots of water. I don’t exercise ( I used to train 7 days a week) bc of the pain and fatigue. I know I should push myself but when I get the energy I clean my house. I also suffer from Sjogrens Syndrome so I have a double whammy. I cope by giving myself a break. If I need to lie down than I do but I have to be feeling pretty horrible. Stress is a major problem! Gotta take it easy. I take Ativan when needed. It is almost an immediate stress reliever. I also have bipolar among other things. The main thing I have to say is heat, ice, rest, don’t overdo, take ur vitamins. I also stay away from dairy and glueten. No sugar unless I want to feel like crap. I have dark chocolate of course. I’m not talking about a little sugar will make u sick but that piece of cake, cookies, cheesecake (yummy) those things like that will make my pain worse. Stretching helps too especially when sitting around a lot. Last but not least is know that u are #1 and u don’t have to go out if u don’t want to. No matter what anyone makes u feel guilty over don’t listen. Only u know ur body and what u can handle. Do something for yourself everyday! Even if it’s looking at a magazine, doing ur nails, taking a shower or simply relaxing in a tub. Also, smile at ur loved ones because it’s hard to cry when ur smiling.
I forgot, Vit D, C and Magnesium is a must. I also use medical marijuana that does help. So, with that said, I hope u get some answers and pray u have a pain free weekend. Keep ur chin up. U got this!❤️👍
Magnesium, B100, high quality multivitamin, melatonin. Prescriptions: Effexor, Amitriptyline. Marijuana by far is the best for me. All combined, it works for me.
I use 1500mg Vit D every morning and 500mg magnesium at night
